Europe sketchbook

The following sketches are from Washington DC and my trip to Norway and Bulgaria about a month ago. I have filled up 2 sketchbooks so far this summer so there is more to come, hope you enjoy~~~

Below is an animation project (match action) that was due toward the end of 2008. I had 3 weeks to do this but the animation was awful, 4 days before it was due I threw everything in the trash, and restarted. I still have mixed feelings about it but I like the final look so...decided to post it..more is coming soon:)

The following animation is a sneeze exercise, I didn't get to complicated with it, its just a stuffy old man..sneezing.. but I had lots of fun animating this and redrawing the character. (The video itself isn't great quality because of the lighting of the cameras...you know.. its a good ol' lunch box)

New Sketchbook

I started my second year of college at SVA a little over a month ago. Classes have been great but there is a lot more homework than last year. I also bought a brand new sketchbook the first day I moved in and now, a month later I'm 75% finished with it. My regular scanner was too big to take (I fly in) so I've been using the ones at the SVA digital compositing lab. Here are some of the pages from the new sketchbook:

Moleskin

I bought a moleskin sketchbook a few weeks ago thinking it would last me just until I start school again... I finished it in less than a month.... so much for lasting. The sketchbook was too small for my taste (I actually couldn't find a bigger one) and it didn't take watercolor well, however the pages were nice to draw on it was easy to scan. I only got in a few good drawings, most of the book was me getting used to the size so my good drawings didn't come until the end.


I have a few more pages colored but they didn't fit into this group - I'll probably post an 'odds and ends' entry with a large amount of drawings that never made it to the main entries. :D

Finished Sketchbook

Summer has been pretty quiet, I've just been working, sleeping and drawing. I completed a new sketchbook since the last post and decided to put up some of the drawings I liked.

To celebrate all space those space related movies (Wall-E, Space Chimps) a few astronauts, a dog and an owl.

Summer vacation kicked off with.. not that much of a bang and so far I have been catching up on sleep. The following drawings are drawings I liked from my 4th (and final) sketchbook for the year, I have started 2 new books but I will post those drawings later.
